Pests & Diseases
Most common Okra pests are caterpillars, Japanese beetles and stinkbugs. Powdery mildew and yellow vein mosaic virus can also attack.
Seed Saving
Okra will crosspolinate with other varieties, if you are planning to save pure seeds you will need to isolate. Seeds are contained in pods, do not harvest as much okra from the plant you plan to collect seeds from that season.
